COLLEGE PARK, Md. — The game hadn’t even reached the first media timeout, but Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon was already steamed following two questionable foul calls on Darryl Morsell and Anthony Cowan, who was whistled for an offensive charge. The coach got in the ear of the referee and promptly drew his first technical foul of the season. It was a rare outburst from Turgeon, who sought to fire his team up after a lackluster start against Illinois Feb. 6 in Champaign, Ill.
