COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland’s played 19 games this year, and the Terps have developed an identity as a slow-starting-strong-finishing squad. In all but two outings in 2019-20, UMD has struggled out of the gate, but found itself either later during the first half or after halftime (and a couple times they didn’t find themselves at all). The Terps’ (15-4, 5-3 Big Ten) Jan. 21 77-66 victory against Northwestern in Evanston, Ill.
