Terps Have To Become 'Mentally Tougher;' Set To Host Purdue

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland coach Mark Turgeon said it after his team’s first loss of the season at Penn State, and again following the defeat at Seton Hall. He said it after the Jan. 10 Iowa loss, and he even said it after a few early-season victories, when the Terps started 10-0 but didn’t necessarily always play well. And he most certainly said it following UMD’s fourth road loss of the season at Wisconsin Jan. 14:
