Taking a look at Maryland’s (10-1) 76-69 loss to Penn State Dec. 10 in University Park, Pa.:

Turnovers Doom Terps

Maryland (now 1-8 at Penn State) came into the Dec. 10 bout averaging just under 11 turnovers per game, which isn’t terrible considering last year’s woes. But after 20 minutes against Penn State, the Terps had 13 miscues, which was the main reason they trailed by as many as 12 and were down 40-30 at halftime.
