After yet another slow start, head coach Mark Turgeon inserted his five best players and employed a 3-2 zone against George Mason. Turgeon had Eric Ayala, Anthony Cowan and Aaron Wiggins up top at the perimeter, and Darryl Morsell and Jalen Smith underneath.
