After Hard Week Of Practice, Terps Ready To Take Next Step

The offense had stagnated, while the Gophers’ drivers were readily slicing through the Terps’ defense. It prompted head coach Mark Turgeon to try something he’d rarely, if ever, had during his previous seven years at the helm: A zone defense.
