COLLEGE PARK, Md. — As with most every college basketball program, even those with veteran rosters and lofty expectations, November hoops is all about experimentation and development. Mixed-and-matched lineup combinations. Varying offensive and defensive sets. Ten-to-12 deep rotations. Altered player roles. And so on and so forth.

The No. 7 Terps and head coach Mark Turgeon did plenty of experimenting in UMD’s 76-43 exhibition victory against Fayetteville State Nov.
