RB Coach Brooks Headed To Va Tech

Maryland will reportedly have a fourth coaching departure off its football staff in running backs coach Elijah Brooks, who will take the same position at Virginia Tech. The fourth-year assistant and former DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) head coach helped develop numerous backs during his tenure in College Park, Md. Two of them, Jake Funk and Anthony McFarland, are currently in the NFL.

Last season, Maryland’s rushing attack ranked in the top half of the conference at 141.
