Maryland slot receiver Rakim Jarrett announced his intentions to enter the NFL Draft and forego UMD’s upcomig Dec. 30 bowl game. The 6-foot, 190-pound junior started the last three years in College Park, Md., and was fully expected to turn pro after the 2022 season.

Jarrett earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors all three years at Maryland. He finished 10th in program history in career touchdowns (10), 11th in career receptions (119) and 13th in career yards (1,552).
