Terps Insist They 'Have No Quit,' Vow To Play Better At Penn State

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — In Maryland’s two previous losses against Michigan and Purdue, the Terps kept the game close and were just a few plays away from coming away with upset victories. But Nov. 5 in Madison, Wis., Maryland suffered its first demoralizing defeat, a 23-10 outcome that wasn’t nearly as close as the final score suggested (the Terps had three points until scoring a touchdown late in the fourth quarter).
