Maryland’s No. 1 quarterback and the best signal caller the Terps have had in quite some time, Taulia Tagovailoa, went down with a significant knee injury late in the game (he’ll have an MRI Oct. 16). Tagovailoa was 25 of 39 for 270 yards and two touchdowns before going down; he was having yet another efficient, solid performance.
