Zook To Step Down As Special Teams Coordinator

Maryland’s special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach, Ron Zook, is expected to resign from his position, per college football insider Adam Rittenberg. Zook has been in College Park, Md., for three seasons, first as a senior analyst from 2019-20 and then as special teams coordinator in 2021.

During his first year running the special teams, Maryland struggled in terms of kick and punt coverage and in its return game.
