Maryland is reportedly finalizing two other staff changes after hiring defensive coordinator Kevin Steele and moving former DC Brian Stewart to safeties coach. Linebackers coach and top recruiter Brawley Evans reportedly will not have his contract renewed, while UMD is expected to announce the hire of Louisville receivers’ coach Gunter Brewer, who would replace Zohn Burden (Duke).
