TE Jackson Enters Transfer Portal

One of Maryland’s depth tight-end pieces entered the transfer portal Jan. 6. Third-year sophomore Malik Jackson chose to leave College Park, Md., after recording one catch for 20 yards in his career.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder from Laurel, Md., did not play in 2021, and had his lone reception in 2020. He briefly appeared in one game in 2019.

Jackson, a low three-star 2019 recruit from Fort Meade, Md., was an under-the-radar prospect throughout the recruiting process.
