WR Carriere Puts His Name In Transfer Portal

A third Maryland receiver elected to enter the transfer portal Jan. 1 when fifth-year senior Carlos Carriere announced his intentions to play a sixth collegiate season outside of College Park, Md. The 6-foot-5, 195-pounder joined wideouts Brian Cobbs and Darryl Jones in opting to transfer; all three likely would have been backups in 2022 with Dontay Demus, Rakim Jarrett, Jacob Copeland and possibly Jeshaun Jones all coming back.
