WR Cobbs Enters Transfer Portal

Maryland senior receiver Brian Cobbs, who started each game in 2021, entered the transfer portal Jan. 1. Cobbs had a relatively productive campaign stepping in for the injured Dontay Demus and Jeshaun Jones, corralling 25 passes for 341 yards a touchdown. The 6-foot-2 possession receiver had four catches for 89 yards and a score against Rutgers, and in Maryland’s bowl game he pulled in four passes  for 62 yards against Virginia Tech.
