Maryland saw its second sophomore running back leave the program Nov. 28 as Peny Boone joined Isaiah Jacobs in announcing his imminent departure from College Park, Md. The 6-foot-1, 245-pounder said he’d be entering the transfer portal.
“A big thanks to Coach Locks [Mike Locksley] and the Maryland staff for giving me this opportunity and taking the time to invest in me over these past two years,” Boone tweeted.
