COLLEGE PARK, Md. — It’s homecoming Oct. 30 in College Park, and the Terps will be honoring the 2001 ACC Championship team, headlined by College Football Hall of Fame inductee EJ Henderson and ’01 Coach of the Year Ralph Friedgen. Of course, current Maryland coach Mike Locksley was on Friedgen’s staff at the time, and 20-some years later the former assistant remembers vividly what Friedgen said to the team when he first assumed control of the program.
