S Scruggs Ready To Show Out At Hometown Maryland

Maryland has mined Spalding (Severn, Md.) for talent the last several recruiting classes, and that has continued in 2022. The Terps landed linebacker Kellan Wyatt earlier this year, and now they have a safety that assistant Brian Williams identified before any other power-five program.

“Man, Maryland is where I always wanted to be,” said Lavain Scruggs, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounder, who landed his UMD offer back on Jan. 4, 2020.
