Terps Eager To (Finally) Take The Field As Season Opener Looms

It’s two months late, and more than a month after almost all of the other power-five conferences began, but football is finally back at Maryland and the rest of the Big Ten. The Terps, coming off a 3-9 season, have been cautiously optimistic since the conference announced its intention to play in late summer. But now game day looms Oct. 24 at Northwestern, and a sense of excited anticipation has set in.
