Terps Show Encouraging Signs Under Abdul-Rahim Heading Into Purdue Matchup

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland didn't get the result it wanted in Aazaar Abdul-Rahim's debut as interim head coach, but the Terps (2-6, 0-5 Big Ten) showed some encouraging signs the team can potentially build on. The Terps have lost six consecutive games, but their latest setback, a 20-17 loss against Illinois, looked different from several of their previous defeats.
