Taking a look at Maryland's defensive line situation heading into the fall season in late October:
Maryland’s defensive line started off well enough, but waned considerably as the 2019 season moved along. The Terps, lacking depth up front, couldn’t generate much (if any) pressure, and they were often pushed off the ball when defending the run. Maryland finished 10th in the Big Ten in run defense at 178 yards allowed per game on 4.
