Taking a look at Maryland's tight end situation heading into the fall season in late October:

The Terps are stacked at receiver, but the team has a dearth of proven tight ends on the roster. Maryland took a significant hit when junior starter Chig Okonkwo, who had a chance to establish himself as one of the Big Ten’s better tight ends in 2020-21, went down with an undisclosed injury earlier in the summer.
