Slot WR Turner Enters The Transfer Portal

Senior slot receiver DJ Turner announced he was entering the transfer portal Aug. 21. He said he was transferring because of the Big Ten’s decision to postpone the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Turner is coming off a year where he played in just three games before being suspended the rest of the year for DUI charges. The Glenarden, Md., native, who was granted a redshirt year, ended up recording four receptions for 84 yards, and had a 55-yard punt return touchdown.
