Three Terps Switch Positions Before Camp

Maryland will begin fall camp Aug. 7, and two days prior at least three Terps have shifted positions. Isaiah Hazel moved from receiver to cornerback, Tyler Baylor shifted from defensive end/JACK to tight end, and Kam Blount moved from SAM linebacker to tight end.

The 6-foot-1, 203-pound Hazel, a sophomore, came to Maryland as a four-star wideout out of Wise (Upper Marlboro, Md.). But Hazel also played defense at Wise, where his length; speed; and athleticism allowed him to excel at safety.
