Maryland landed a commitment from nearby Flowers (Springdale, Md.) in the 2020 class in Santana Saunders (who didn’t sign with UMD), and now the Terps are after another Jaguars’ product. Class of 2021 defensive tackle Tommy Akingbesote landed his fifth overall verbal from hometown UMD March 8 following a campus visit the day before.
