John Carroll (Bel Air, Md.) 2021 running back Roman Hemby grew up watching Maryland basketball and football, and attended games in College Park, Md., well before he became a prospective recruit. So when the 5-foot-11, 183-pounder heard the hometown Terps wanted to offer him a scholarship, well, naturally the local product was thrilled.

“Definitely huge, definitely huge,” said Hemby, who landed the look Feb. 24 from head coach Mike Locksley.
