On the day he arrived at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Ja’Khi Green told anyone who would listen that he wanted to play football for the University of Maryland.

“Ja’Khi walked in as a freshman and declared that Maryland was his dream school,” said Messay Hailemariam, founder of the St. Frances football program. “Ja’Khi said that’s been his goal since he was young. He has never wavered from that stance.
