COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland falls 38-7 to No. 14 Michigan in the Terrapins’ Homecoming Game. Here’s the good, the bad and the ugly (not necessarily in that order) in a 5 Things format:

Special Teams Not So Special

From the opening, the special teams let Maryland down. Start, literally, with Giles Jackson’s 97-yard kickoff return for a score. It was a one-cut and then out-run everyone deal and it put the Terps in a hole they never dug out of.
