JUCO LB Has Terps Trending After Offer

It’s been quite a week for Hutchinson C.C. (Hutchinson, Kans.) outside linebacker Gereme Spraggins. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder from Gambrills, Md., who is in his freshman year at Hutchinson, didn’t have any college looks entering late October, but on Oct. 29 he landed a scholarship out of the blue from West Virginia. Then, a day later, hometown Maryland anted up.

It was the latter that grabbed his attention, first and foremost.
