COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Here are notes from Mike Locksley’s Oct. 16 press conference:

-- Anthony McFarland came out later in practice to watch. He’s day to day and seeing how he reacts to the swelling later in the week. He could practice and get some reps Oct. 17 and be ready for the Indiana game Oct. 19.

-- QB Josh Jackson threw a little bit Oct. 16 and is progressing. He’s day to day and could be available against Indiana.
