Terps Fire DC Ted Monachino

Mike Locksley remains the head coach at Maryland, but the Terps did make a staff move heading into their bye week Oct. 18. Second-year defensive coordinator Ted Monachino was fired following Oct. 17’s 37-30 homecoming loss to Rutgers. The move comes amid a disastrous stretch for the Terrapins, who have dropped five consecutive games and fallen to 2-5 overall and 0-4 in Big Ten play.
