Terps Brush Off Banter, Ready For First Power-Four Test Against Va Tech

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — When Virginia Tech starting cornerback Jaquez White was asked about Maryland quarterback Malik Washington earlier this week, the veteran defensive back gave a fairly honest assessment. White said that Washington was “pretty good” and has a “decent arm,” but “I don’t really think he’s that accurate.”

Now, the UConn game last week notwithstanding, White’s comments weren’t exactly off base.
