Five Sleeper/Breakout Candidates Heading Into The 2026 Season

Maryland has a lot of returners from the 2025 season, but there is still plenty of opportunity for breakout candidates to emerge in 2026 considering the Terps lost significant production at receiver, on the defensive front and in the secondary:

WR Kaleb Webb

The 6-foot-5 Webb is no longer completely under the radar, but he still qualifies because he hasn't been a major producer yet. With Shaleak Knotts, Jalil Farooq and Octavian Smith gone, Maryland needs a new No. 1 threat.
