Maryland typically adds a “camp offer” recruit every cycle, and this year the Terps picked up Thompson (Alabaster, Ala.) low three-star receiver Mason McClure. The 5-foot-9.5, 185-pound slot worked out for the Terps at a one-day camp June 19, earned an offer from receivers’ coach Latrell Scott, stayed around to take a College Park, Md., official visit, and then committed at the conclusion of the trip June 21.
