Maryland added a linebacker from an unconventional source June 3 in former Rice shooting guard Jordan Williams. Williams hasn't played football since high school, but apparently head coach Mike Locksley believes his quickness and burst can help the Terps at outside linebacker.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound shooting guard is coming off a season where he played in just 13 games for the Owls due to an undisclosed injury. In those 13 games, he averaged about 10.5 minutes a night and put up 2.
