North Shore (Houston, Texas) offensive guard Abdus Kone arrived in College Park, Md., for his official visit May 28 with the intention of possibly committing to Maryland, and the 6-foot-5, 315-pound unrated recruit did so at the conclusion May 31. Kone forewent intended official visits to UTSA and North Texas and opted into Coach Mike Locksley’s program before leaving campus.
