Maryland’s first official visit weekend of the offseason started May 29, and the Terps already have one commitment in the fold. Shadow Creek (Pearland, Texas) mid-level three-star safety Kevin Jackson elected to commit soon after arriving in College Park, Md., for the first time.
The 5-foot-11.5, 185-pounder was supposed to officially visit Utah and Oklahoma State after Maryland, but he opted to make his pledge before seeing any other locales.
