COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Four years ago, when Tyrrell Pigrome arrived in College Park by way of Montgomery, Ala., he was confident he could eventually become the team’s starting quarterback. The Terps and then-offensive coordinator Walt Bell were the only power-five program to give him that chance -- all of his other major suitors sought him as a slot receiver or “athlete” -- but Pigrome had every reason to believe in himself, despite the numerous recruiting snubs.
