Maryland’s Defense Was A Steel Sieve

The Terps’ offense couldn’t get going against Rutgers in the last game, and against Northwestern it was the defense that failed to show up. Maryland’s perimeter defense, in particular, was awful as the Terps’ communication; rotations; and closeouts all left much to be desired. UMD allowed a middling group of Northwestern shooters to connect at a 57.
