Terps Have First B1G Win, But Now They'll Take On Big Ten Gauntlet

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — At least the Terps aren’t going 0-20 in Big Ten play. Maryland (8-10, 1-6 Big Ten) had lost its previous six conference bouts by at least 10 points, the only high-major team in America to do so, but Jan. 18 the Terps put that ominous statistic to rest and emerged with a dominant 96-73 win against Penn State.

No matter that PSU is now 0-7 in the conference; the fact Maryland earned a win against any Big Ten foe is cause for celebration.
