After nose tackle Lavon Johnson elected to transfer back to UMD after a year at Texas, tight end Preston Howard chose to reunite with Maryland after a season at Auburn. Howard will team with Dorian Fleming and AJ Szymanski as the top three tight ends on Maryland’s roster next year.
