COLLEGE PARK, Md. — The grueling non-conference schedule has ended, and for the next 18 games it’s rough-and-tumble Big Ten play for the Terps. Maryland (7-6, 0-2 Big Ten), which lost to conference foes Iowa and Michigan back in early December, starts at home against Oregon and Indiana; heads West to face UCLA and USC; returns home to take on Penn State; and then faces a gauntlet of top-tier programs in Illinois, Michigan State and Purdue.
