Maryland saw its most significant departure so far this offseason Dec. 27 when junior nickelback La'Khi Roland elected to enter the transfer portal. The 6-foot-1, 188-pounder was one of the highest rated cover men for the Terps this year, grading out slightly above average, per Pro Football Focus.
Roland, who took over nickel duties from Kevyn Humes several games into the season, finished with 14 tackles and three interceptions in 2025.
