OLB Avery Enters Transfer Portal

Maryland redshirt junior linebacker/edge rusher Neeo Avery elected to enter the transfer portal Dec. 16, becoming the fourth Terp to do so this offseason. The 6-foot-4, 273-pounder was expected to assume a leading role in 2025, but instead he was relegated to rotational work, falling behind the likes of freshmen Zahir Mathis and Sidney Stewart. Avery played 107 total snaps in seven games this year and tallied four tackles.
