Maryland saw its second player enter the transfer portal Dec. 1 in redshirt freshman receiver Jahmari Powell-Wonson. The Baltimore native caught two passes for 14 yards against Indiana this year, and that was the only game action he saw. Powell-Wonson did not appear in a game in 2024.
The class of 2024 three-star receiver Powell-Wonson attended City College (Baltimore, Md.) and jumped at the opportunity to play for the hometown school.
