Maryland saw its first transfer-portal departure this offseason when sophomore Shamar McIntosh elected to leave the program. The 6-foot, 198-pounder from Washington, D.C., played in just one game and saw four total snaps the entire 2025 campaign.
Before this year, McIntosh played in five games in 2024 and recorded one tackle. He saw 11 total snaps during his brief time on the field.
McIntosh was a mid-three-star prospect out of St. John’s (Washington, D.C.) in the 2024 class.
