QB Bernhard Flips To Maryland

Maryland picked up a quarterback commitment Nov. 24 in Ashland (Ohio) three-star Nathan Bernhard, who had been pledged to Appalachian State since late April. The 6-foot-5, 227-pounder completed 175 of 275 passes for 2,878 yards and 31 touchdowns against two interceptions, while adding 674 rushing yards and 21 running scores, this season.

“Maryland is a great fit all the way around,” said Bernhard, a three-sport athlete who carries a perfect GPA.
