Taking a look at Maryland’s 35-20 loss at Rutgers Nov. 8:

Maryland’s Football IQ Is Lacking

The Terps have never been a technically precise or “aware” group under Mike Locksley’s leadership, but Nov. 8 the team’s mental shortcomings were readily exposed -- maybe more than they had been at any other point this year. This doesn’t necessarily always show up in turnovers or penalties, although that’s certainly part of it.
