Maryland found its replacement for Kmari Bing (St. Frances/Baltimore, Md.) Nov. 5 in high three-star safety/nickel Darrell Carey. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder out of DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) de-committed from Penn State Oct. 27 in the wake of Coach James Franklin’s ouster, and promptly took an official visit to College Park, Md., Nov. 1 for UMD’s game against Indiana.
